History of Our Dermatology Clinic

The dermatology practice at Burgstrasse was originally established in 1998.

In 2005, Prof. Dr. med. Michael Dorn handed the practice over to Prof. Dr. med. Frank-Michael Köhn, who established a specialized focus in andrology alongside general dermatological care by founding the Andrologicum München.

In 2015, the practice expanded into a joint partnership with PD Dr. med. Christina Schnopp and Dr. med. Julia Baumstark, introducing pediatric dermatology as an additional specialized focus area.

Our practice structure enables us to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care to patients across all statutory and private health insurance providers.

Since July 2025, the practice has been led by Dr. med. Katharina Rübsam and PD Dr. med. Christina Schnopp. Dr. med. Julia Baumstark and Prof. Dr. med. Frank-Michael Köhn continue to serve patients as associate senior physicians. Most recently, the practice expanded its clinical focus to include specialized diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with vitiligo.
